Autosonic light

The mobile ultrasonic testing system Autosonic™ light has been developed as an alternative to the Autosonic™ standard. This unit is particularly designed and constructed for test centres with different testing facilities or test shops with a small volume of cylinder to be tested. It is universally suitable and can be moved and operated anywhere, provided that air, water and electricity are available.

Autosonic™ light testing unit allows to examine a wide range of steel and aluminium gas cylinders.
Cylinder lenghts: 100 -1800 mm
Cylinder diameters: 80 – 267 mm
Larger (e.g. CNG cylinders) as well as smaller cylinders may be examined with some minor adaptations. Even Jumbo Tubes used on trailers can be tested using this system.

The device is constructed using only stainless materials in order to grant a long lifetime and to keep maintenance costs low.

The system is controlled by a PLC which can be operated by a touch screen module and external buttons. The costs for a system upgrade are kept to a minimum.

The testing unit is equipped with a VIS/MUX Test Electronics (Test electronics-VIS) provided by GE. The Test Electronics comprehends an industrial PC on which test are performed with the Test Software UNIVIS.

Cylinder data are managed with the particularly developed software called Autosoft. We offer various methods for the Data Entry adapted to the customer’s requirements.
